As you’ve probably figured out, I’m Elena. I’m a freelance writer, reporter, and communications strategist based in Washington, DC. Currently, I spend most of my time in the world of social impact communications as a consultant for nonprofits and philanthropic organizations.

My writing has been published in Esquire, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, Glamour, NBC News, InStyle and more. Prior to freelancing, I was an assistant editor for Esquire.com in New York, where I advised on audience engagement and wrote across different beats.
